What it is
The same hire raises two questions: what it costs, fully loaded, and when it pays for itself. This pack answers both, from one intake and in one meeting.
The New Hire Cost Report and the New Hire ROI Report on the same role, in a single intake. It saves you time on collating and uploading the data, on the role definition and on the assumption set. The pack costs less than the two reports bought separately, and arrives in the same seven-working-day window from data upload.
You end with both halves of one decision, reconciled against one set of assumptions.
The cost basis is built first - the fully loaded unit cost of the hire - and the payback model runs on it directly: highest exposure month, break-even month, ROI at years one to three, and the runway impact.
What you get
- Both reports on the same role, from a single intake
- The fully loaded unit cost feeding the payback model directly, on one assumption set
- Peak exposure, break-even month, three-year ROI and runway impact on the costed role
- A 50-minute delivery call covering both reports
- The option to submit questions ahead of the delivery call
- The option to bring the stakeholders you want to the delivery meeting
Buy this when
- Sign-off needs both numbers: the loaded cost and the payback schedule
- This is a first critical hire or a senior hire, and neither the cost basis nor the payback case exists yet
- Cost transparency on hiring is being set up for the first time for a particular job type
- You have made repeated mis-hires, with people resigning or being dismissed
- You want to know what targets to set for a role, and the point at which underperformance should trigger a decision
When not to buy
Do not buy this if only one of the two questions is live:
- if you want to investigate the cost of hiring, take the New Hire Cost Report;
- if you only want to understand ROI timeframes on a new hire, the New Hire ROI Report is the better fit.
How it works
- Order on card.
- Intake form and data submitted through our client portal after payment - one submission covers both reports.
- Both reports delivered within seven working days of complete submission.
- A 50-minute delivery call.
Investment
The price for your region is on this page: in the order panel, and in the comparison chart below, which sets it against the two reports bought separately.
Optional 45-minute follow-up sessions are bookable through the client portal within 30 days of delivery, prepaid on card.
Too early to buy anything?
The New Hire Cost, New Hire ROI and Runway Impact calculators are free, unlimited, and built for founders who are not yet ready to book advisory support.
For funds
One methodology across the portfolio: the same cost basis and the same payback model, on one assumption set, comparable company to company.
How it works. The fund recommends, and the portfolio company engages directly with Talent Ascent. Our services carry no channel economics.
The alternatives
“We will buy whichever one we need.”
Bought separately the two reports cost more, take two intakes, and produce two assumption sets that have to be reconciled if anything in the submissions differs.
“The price seems high for two documents.”
You receive bespoke reports on your own numbers, the option to submit your questions in advance, and a delivery call you can bring the relevant stakeholders to. We are here to help with guidance and clarity, not to deliver a slide deck.
FAQ
Is it one intake or two?
One. A single intake and a single data submission through the client portal serve both reports, and both run on one assumption set, so the cost basis and the payback model cannot disagree with each other.
When do the two reports arrive?
Together, within seven working days of a complete data submission - the same window as either report bought on its own. The clock starts on complete submission, not on order.
What are the boundaries of the pack?
One named role, one intake, one reconciled assumption set — a second role is a second pack. Both reports are desk analysis of the figures you supply through the client portal; stakeholder interviews are not part of a report engagement. The delivery clock starts when your data submission is complete, and every assumption is stated once, in the shared assumptions register both reports use.
